A local occupational license is required for
most businesses. Licenses are issued by the City of Florida City and
Miami-Dade County. Licenses must be renewed each year, as all
occupational licenses expire on September 30th each year. Please
contact the Building and Zoning Department prior to operating your new

The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for enforcement and levy
of fines should you fail to obtain an occupational license. |

Commission. Meetings are scheduled for 7pm, on an as needed basis. They
