Mark your calendars, Florida City families! Camp AWA — Arts, Wellness & Academics is returning this summer, and registration opens April 10, 2026. Presented by FLIPANY in partnership with the City of Florida City and The Children's Trust, Camp AWA runs June 8 through August 7, giving kids rising K through 8th grade a full summer of learning, fun, and growth.
Campers will enjoy arts, wellness, academics, gardening, sports and fitness, swimming, weekly field trips, and healthy food education and cooking — with breakfast, lunch, and snack provided daily. Camp hours are 8 AM to 6 PM at three Florida City locations: the Florida City Youth Activity Center, Loren Roberts Park, and Covenant Missionary Baptist Church.
