Summer is coming, and with it a powerful opportunity for Miami-Dade students to step into the working world. The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP) 2026 is officially open for registration, running from July 1 to August 2, 2026.
Students will gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and explore career pathways alongside local employers who are invested in their success. Parents can find support resources and FAQs in English, Spanish, and Creole, or call the Internship Hotline at 305-693-3005 for guidance through the process.
Employers, this is your chance to help shape Miami's next generation of talent. Register your on-site or remote internship openings, and join us at Career Connect & Conquer Day to meet motivated students face-to-face.
Whether you're a student ready to launch your career, a parent supporting your child's future, or an employer looking to invest in our community — there's a place for you in SYIP 2026.
